INDX is in active development. If something looks wrong, or you have a question about your data, get in touch.

Include your iOS version and, if a reading is missing, the sensor brand and when you paired it. We aim to reply within two business days. If you are testing through TestFlight, you can also send feedback directly from the TestFlight app.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to run INDX?

An iPhone with iOS 16 or later. To see glucose data you either connect a compatible CGM sensor directly over Bluetooth, or use a CGM app that writes to Apple Health — INDX reads from there. INDX does not require a specific CGM brand.

How does INDX get my glucose readings?

Two ways. The primary route is Apple Health: if your CGM app writes glucose to Apple Health, INDX reads it with your permission. The alternative is a direct Bluetooth connection to a supported sensor, which is useful when there is no health platform to write to. INDX does not sell or require any particular sensor brand.

Do I need an account?

No. The app works fully offline without an account. Signing in is only needed if you want end-to-end encrypted cloud backup and cross-device sync. There is no guest "skip" on the sign-in screen — offline builds and anonymous use simply stay on the device.

How is my data protected?

Your history is stored on your phone under iOS file protection, and the health data folder is excluded from iCloud backup. Cloud backup is off unless you turn it on, and it is encrypted on your device with a key we never receive. See the privacy policy for the full detail, including what our servers can and cannot see.

How do I turn cloud backup on or off?

Open Settings inside the app, sign in if you have not already, and switch on encrypted backup. Switching it off immediately stops new uploads — including background work when you are offline — but the encrypted copy already stored stays until you delete your account.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account from the app's Settings. Deleting it removes your cloud backup and clears that account's local data and caches from the device. If you would rather have us do it, email us and we will action it.

INDX is not showing my readings. What should I check?

Check that INDX has permission to read glucose in the Apple Health app, that the sensor is still within its wear period, and that the source app is still writing to Apple Health. For a directly connected sensor, confirm Bluetooth is on and, if you changed phones, do the iOS re-pairing described on the sensor screen. If the readings still do not appear, email us with the details above.

Is INDX a medical device?

No. INDX does not diagnose or treat any condition and must not be used to decide insulin doses or to detect low blood glucose. Do not rely on cloud sync for a real-time low-glucose alert. Always follow your clinician's advice and the instructions supplied with your sensor.
